Position: Graphic Designer

Vital Wave, Inc. is seeking a skilled freelance Graphic Designer to join its roster of talented, global consultants. Vital Wave Graphic Designers improve the look and consistency of marketing materials and client deliverables in accordance with the firm’s marketing and branding guidelines. The Graphic Designer will work in tandem with Vital Wave’s Chief Strategist and project teams on an as-needed basis to ensure the development of polished, professional materials. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to:
Marketing collateral: Design marketing collateral to ensure consistency with company brand and marketing guidelines.
Presentation design: Apply final graphical finish to client presentations.
Report design: Transform written drafts into professional, readable final reports with clean layouts and useful, appropriate graphics.
Website: Make periodic updates to the company website. Create new web pages, as needed.
Email newsletter: Import newsletter text into an HTML template.
Corporate identity: Update/refine the company logo, corporate colors, and marketing templates (e.g., PPT, Word, HTML newsletter).

Required Qualifications:
High proficiency and desire to work in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Ability to work remotely and with global virtual team members (including nights and weekends)
Responsiveness, reliability, and ability to turn around projects quickly
Knowledge of Adobe Create Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Web design skills: HTML, CSS, and Dreamweaver
Strong design skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, or a related field
