FREELANCE PROJECT MANAGER
We are looking for a competent, Mid Level freelance project manager to handle some of our projects, assist managing clients, and facilitate interactions with our vendors and sub-contractors. You will need experience handling both print and web-based projects.
Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation Manage day-to-day activities of clients’ relationship Manage clients’ expectations and requests to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget Development of Project Plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans and allocation of available resources Project proposal review (determine goals, time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allocation of resources) Work closely with the Creative and Technology teams to understand project scope, design requirements and functional/technical documentation Hold weekly project status meetings and author weekly production status reports. Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout project lifecycle Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and advanced levels of communication Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project or similar project mg't software A minimum of 2-3 years of experience within an Interactive Agency or similar business with project management experience Excellent organizational/development skills Must be a strong team player with the will to get things done
You must live in the Los Angeles metro area and be able to work remotely as well as on-site at times-no other candidates outside of the Los Angeles metro area will be considered.
