VISUAL DESIGNER
Schema is looking for a Visual Designer to join our team in Seattle, WA.

The Visual Designer is responsible for creating beautiful and intuitive data-driven tools and experiences for a wide range of audiences. The position will work under the direction of the Creative Director as well as alongside the Interaction Design and Software Engineering teams on a wide range of projects, from web and mobile applications to large-scale interactive media installations. The ideal candidate thrives on details and is strong in systems thinking. Curious and forward-thinking, they are interested in contributing to Schema’s ongoing research at the intersection of design, technology, and culture.

The Visual Designer will work at our offices in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary, award-winning design team with forward-thinking clients.

Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate degree (or equivalent coursework) in Visual/Graphic Design or related field.
- A high degree of skill in typography, composition and color.
- Experience designing data visualizations and for big data.
- Experience with UI/UX design.
- Fluent with design tools such as Sketch and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Highly disciplined. Must be able to balance multiple projects/deadlines and work in a fast-paced, demanding atmosphere.
- Excellent communication skills. Experience working with clients a plus.
- Fast and efficient while possessing a positive attitude.
- Familiar with web languages and technologies (e.g. HTML5, CSS3,Javascript/jQuery, Git, «old link») a huge bonus.
- 2+ years working as a freelance designer, studio, agency, or in-house.

POSITION: INTERACTIVE DESIGNER W/ HTML CSS - ONGOING
Web publication company is seeking a UI Designer to join their growing team full time.

As a web designer with 5+ years of experience, you will be creating ads, landing pages, and affiliate pages.

You must:
Be proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Be able to work concept through production on all types of interactive design properties
Be adept at working with satellite offices and designers/developers who are working remotely

WORDPRESS HTML CODER

JV2 (pleae don't judge us by our website) Digital is looking for a developer with great HTML / CSS / JS / Worpdress skills. The job is taking finsihed PSD's, cutting the HTML, creating worpdress themes (child themes are fine), and finishing out websites.

While you're not expected to be a designer... a strong eye for good design is important. You need to ensure things like kerning, spacing, font-size, etc.. are aesthetically pleasing in your work.

This is a retainer gig, $3500/month for 80 hours of work. You're paid twice a month via direct deposit. Expect to go over hours (paid of course) each month. Experience with themeing magento stores will be a large differentiator between you and other applicants.

We need somebody to start immediately and have enough work to keep you busy indefinetly.
