TECH BLOGGER FOR SOFTWARE PRODUCT REVIEW SITE

«old link» is an independent review site helping visitors make decisions regarding video screen capturing software and learning how to make helpful screencasts. We aim to provide a variety of helpful resources, including:

In-depth screen capture software reviews
Articles discussing trends in screen capturing software
Tutorials providing how-to information on screen capturing techniques

Since we actually use these products ourselves, we have the ability to chat about experiences and demonstrate their effectiveness in a practical, workplace environment.

We are looking for bloggers who can use these tools and write about how to use screencast software in business, education and other areas.

Compensation largely depends upon experience, but we are looking for a steady stream of monthly content. 4-5 posts per month. If you can include a brief, 45-60 second screencast within the post, that is perfect.

Please email info@screencapturereviews.com a cover letter, resume, monthly or per post pricing and two writing samples. Writing samples can exist on other websites - just be sure it references you as the author.

We look forward to hearing back from you.

SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER

Codeflow is seeking a freelance Senior Web Developer that can assist us with delivering advanced web applications for some of our largest clients. These sites will be built using Javascript (jQuery, «old link») and HTML5/CSS3 on the front-end, and a mix of Python (Pyramid), «old link», and MongoDB on the back-end. So we are seeking someone who has experience doing it all -- front-end development work, server-side stuff, and knows how to make it all work together using web services, APIs, and related technologies.

We're a small team with an exploding business, and we're moving fast. We're looking to find someone that is capable, reliable and, most important, who we think would be a good fit for our team. So hopefully, this position will transition into a full-time position for the right person down the road. This is also a remote working situation (we are a completely distributed team), so your access to a dedicated work space and familiarity with virtual presence technologies is essential.

Skills & Requirements
Self-directing, excellent communicator, proactive and engaged with the team.
HTML5/CSS3 and expert Javascript (jQuery and «old link»)
MongoDB experience desired, general relational DB expertise also a plus.
Python and MVC web frameworks experience desired (if you're familiar other scripting languages, e.g. Perl, Ruby, that's good too).
Experience consuming and creating web services and APIs.
Intermediate to advanced familiarity with the Unix shell.
Experience with version control systems esp. git
