JR. COPYWRITER (FREELANCE)
The Studio at Conde Nast is a multimedia creative agency. We are responsible for executing custom solutions for advertisers across the Conde Nast suite of «old link»e Studio is currently seeking an Advertising Copywriter (Jr to Mid Level) to be a member of the award-winning creative team responsible for digital ad campaigns, emails, custom sites, sweepstakes and other creative and innovative online marketing efforts. This part-time position will report to the Copy Manager and work collaboratively with a cross-functional team on assigned projects. In addition to copy for client programs, we are also looking for a candidate who will be responsible for corporate award submissions and program summaries. This position requires a minimum of 2-3 years copywriting experience in advertising, direct marketing and/or promotion and the ability to think strategically about interactive design and advertising. In addition, this position requires strong conceptual skills with knowledge of how copy relates to art, design, graphics and typography. A Bachelor\\\'s degree in communications, advertising, or marketing is also highly desirable. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills, and the aptitude to function within deadlines, while working both independently and as part of a team. Core Responsibilities:
Write copy for flash ads, custom sites, video scripts, sweepstakes programs, blogs, social campaigns, emails, tablet apps and other emerging technologies.
Ensure that engaging copy ties back to strategic/business goals.
Concisely summarize programs for recaps, awards and presentations.
Work on multiple projects from beginning to end and create inspired solutions with tight and changing deadlines.
Collaborate with project team (Design, Client Services, Technology, and Research) in the creation of client-based advertising and marketing concepts.
Attend creative meetings to leverage copy in conceptualization and planning of projects.
Interpret the strategic business goals of projects as they apply to a user experience/content strategy.
Participate and be a leader in concept brainstorming sessions and incorporate the latest industry innovations
